Biotech Club President

In the Spring of 2017, I became the Biotech Club President.  As President, I had two mains goals: to increase both the club’s community outreach and freshman membership.  Since taking office, the club has presented multiple bioethics seminars at the State College Area High School, and its freshman membership has increased by nearly three fold.

Responsibilities

President (2017):  assembling club meetings, relaying club announcements, leading biotech meeting discussions, overseeing fundraising efforts, ensuring club compliance with UPAC regulations, appointing club officers, organizing outreach projects

Vice President (2015-2016): assisting in presidential tasks, attending all meetings and answering member questions, expanding social media presence via Twitter, advertising club around campus via flyers, coordinating and organizing fundraisers, communicating with and recruiting prospective club members
